KEMOCEL nitro varnish is a primer based on cellulose nitrate, synthetic resin and organic solvents. It is rapid drying, distinguished by great hardness and good adhesive property.

Application

It is used for protection and decoration of metal products, electrical industry products and wooden products. Metal needs to be cleaned from rust, grease and other impurities and than protected with one coat of KEMOCEL nitrocellulose primer or KEMODUR S - universal metal primer. Wood needs to be sanded, dusted and protected using KEMOCEL nitrocellulose wood primer.

KEMOCEL can be applied on well prepared surface by spraying or using a brush. Before applying the next coat, the previous one has to dry completely. Paint is usually sprayed on in two or three coats in intervals from 5-10 minutes. Use only in rooms with good ventilation!

Coverage

8-10 m2/L in one coat on a smooth surface with 30 micrometers thick dry film.
