AQUALUX Metal primer - Anticorrosive metal basecoat
AQUALUX metal primer is an anticorrosive metal coating based on high-quality water-dilutable alkyd resins, anticorrosion components and pigments. It is applied prior to AQUALUX Varnish, top coating for wood and metal.
This product is:

- non-toxic
- non-flammable
Application
Surface has to be grease-, rust- and dust-free AQUALUX metal primer needs to be well stirred prior to application!
It is applied using a brush or a roller. Thinning is usually not needed, but if necessary it can be done using tap water (max.5%). If the paint is to be sprayed on, it needs to be thinned so as to obtain viscosity of 25-30 seconds by 4din 53211.
Time between applying two coats
16 hours.
Do not apply it in strong sun or temperatures below +10°C.
After usage wash the tools with water!
Consumption
0,75 litre is enough for covering 8-10 m2 surface with one coat of paint, depending on how it is applied and the thickness of the coating.
