Application

Stir well prior to application! Apply on a clean, dry, dust and grease free surface. Avoid applying it in the direct sunlight and temperatures below 10°C. In order to preserve wood, prior to application of AQUALUX varnish it is recommended to apply AQUALUX wood primer , and for metal be sure to apply AQUALUX metal primer.

Paint is applied using brush or roller. Thinning is usually not necessary, but it can be done using tap water (max. 5%). If paint is to be sprayed on, it needs to be thinned so as to obtain viscosity of 25-30 seconds by 4din 53211.

Overcoat interval

Minimally: 2-3 h/20°C, with 65% relative humidity and good ventilation.

Maximally: 1-2 weeks. If time between applying two coats of paint is longer than this, surface needs to be carefully sandpapered in order to remove all dirt.
