FINALGRUND UNI - Universal render primer
FINALGRUND UNI is a universal primer for all types of surfaces used prior to applying acrylic, silicate and silicon decorative thin-layered renders.
Product range
It comes in white colour, but the system for machine tinting "Chromos Svjetlost" enables obtaining a wide range of shades from our tint-card. It is highly recommendable to tint FINALGRUND UNI so as to obtain the shade as close as possible to the shade of render under which it is to be applied.
Application area
It is used for different mineral surfaces: lime-cement and gypsum renders, base coats in thermal insulation systems, concrete, gypsum-cardboards and fibre-cement boards, as well as for well adhering coats of dispersion paints. It is not suitable for lime renders or surfaces painted with oil and alkyd primers.
How it is applied
Surface needs to be firm, dry, smooth and clean and optimal working temperature ranges from +5°C to +35°C.
Thinning
With water, maximally 10%.
Application
Apply in one coat by brush or a special short-bristle roller.
Drying time (prior to application of render)
Minimally 12 hours at temperature of 20°C and 65% of relative humidity.
Coverage
0.15-0.20 kg/m2, depending on surface absorption.
Storage
Store in a dry and ventilated room protected from direct sunlight and at temperature from +5°C to +30°C.
Keep from freezing!
Shelf life
At least 18 months in originally sealed packaging.
