ULTRATOP - Thick-layered varnish stain

ULTRATOP is a thick-layered varnish stain with decorative purpose and purpose of providing long-term and efficient protection for all types of hard and soft wood. Due to presence of UV filters it represents somewhat of a novelty in continuous protection of wood from deterioration. It gives wood surfaces fuller appearance of noble wood types, while still keeping wood structure clearly visible. Presence of water-repellent agents prevents wood from entering wood pores, causing cracks or swelling of the wood.

Those wooden object which are heavily exposed to weather conditions and  microorganism activity, should be protected with one coat of LAZURIT preservation basecoat (for lighter shades of ULTRATOP) or KEMOCID preservation basecoat (for darker shades) prior to the application of ULTRATOP.

Ultratop contains no biocides, making it suitable for indoor usage.

Application

ULTRATOP needs to be stirred well prior to application! Undiluted stain should be applied in 2-3 coats on a dry, clean and dust-free surface using brush, roller or by spraying. Number of coats depends on the wanted intensity of colour and exposure to weather conditions.

Outdoor wood needs 2-3 coats, and 1-2 coats are sufficient for indoor wood. Time interval between applying two coats needs to be 12-24 hours, depending on weather conditions. Optimal application temperature should not be lower than +5°C.

8-10m²/L in two coats, depending on the absorption, how well the wood was treated and how stain is to be applied.
