MAESTRO preservative basecoat -

MAESTRO basecoat is a rapid dry one-component basecoat based on high quality modified binders.

Thinner

Basecoat should not be thinned.
Wash the tools using MAESTRO tool cleaning detergent.

Application

It is used as preservative basecoat in the surface treatment of parquet and other wooden surfaces, for prevention (minimizing) changing of wood colour after varnishing. Maestro basecoat needs to be well shaken prior to application! It should be applied in one coat by using brush or a special roller  Surface (parquet) has to be dry, grease free, sandpapered (using sandpaper no. 150) and clean. Permitted parquet humidity is 8-10%. Dried basecoat should not be sandpapered.

Time between applying two coats

In optimal working conditions at temperature between 18-22°C, 65% of relative humidity and good ventilation, after two hours MAESTRO parquet varnish can be applied over MAESTRO basecoat
