Application

It is used for impregnation of surfaces on which KEMOSIL silicate façade paint is to be applied. It penetrates deeply into the surface, thus connecting loose particles. It can be applied on cement-lime renders, cement renders, concrete and asbestos-cement surfaces. KEMOSIL silicate preservative basecoat needs to be applied on a clean, firm, grease and dust free dry surface. Damages on old surfaces need to be fixed using the appropriate render. One coat of basecoat without added water is applied using brush or roller.
