KEMOSIL Silicate façade paint -
KEMOSIL silicate façade paint is a dispersion silicate façade paint made of high-quality acrylic binder, light-resistant pigments, potash water glass and water-repelling agents. Silicate paints have a chemical reaction with surface thus forming a water-resistant coating with high level of water vapour permeability allowing the surface to "breathe". It is easy to apply, has good covering properties and it is extremely resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation.

Tinting
It comes in white colour, but the system for machine tinting "Chromos Svjetlost" enables obtaining a whole range of shades from our tint-card.
Application
It is suitable for decorative protection of old and new mineral renders, and for restoration of old silicate primers, as well. It is not suitable for restoration of gypsum and acrylic surfaces or old coatings of lime and dispersion primers.
Surface needs to be firm, clean and dry, free from loose particles, water dissolvable salts and grease.
One coat of KEMOSIL preservative basecoat must be brushed on a well prepared surface.
Two coats of KEMOSIL silicate façade paint without added water or added with max. 5% pure water needs to be applied on a dry surface using brush or roller.
Coverage
4-6 m2/L in one coat on a smooth surface, depending on the surface absorption and roughness.
