Wall rendering – indoors - Decorative renders for protection of interior walls

From our product line we offer decorative renders intended for protection of façades and interior walls. Decorative renders are pasty ready-mix plaster, and considering the type of dispersive binder they can be divided in acrylic, silicate and silicon renders.

Depending on appearance and structure each of these types of renders can be further divided into smooth (equally levelled structure) and troweled (rough structure resembling the oak bark). Granulation of smooth renders varies from 1,0, 1,5, 2,0 and 2,5 mm, and for troweled ones 1,5 and 2,0 mm.

Renders come in white, but the system for machine tinting "Chromos Svjetlost" enables obtaining a wide spectrum of shades from our tint-card.

Surfaces suitable for application of acrylic, silicate and silicon renders are as follows: all types of mineral renders, base coat for thermal-insulation systems, concrete surfaces, lime-cement and gypsum cardboard boards

Prior to application of render be sure to apply primer!

FINALGRUND UNI is a universal primer and we recommend applying it under any type of render (acrylic, silicate or silicon). Since it is possible to obtain the shade as closest as possible to that of the render itself, there will be no visible difference in colour between the render and surface in places where a grain trowels the render.

FASENA primer should be applied under acrylic troweled renders, especially in case of adding colour to the render because this prevents any problems with different colour shades between render and surface, exactly as with FINALGRUND UNI.

SIMPRA preservative basecoat can be used only with white acrylic renders and on not too demanding surfaces (in any case not with low absorbing surfaces, gypsum cardboard boards and fibre-cement façade boards).

For low-absorbing surfaces it is recommended to apply FINALGRUND UNI as a primer under all types of render (acrylic, silicate and silicon).

Besides FINALGRUND UNI (white or tinted) KEMOSIL SILICATE IMPREGNATION or KEMOSIL SILICATE IMPREGNATION can also be used as a primer under silicate renders.

FINALGRUND UNI can be used as a primer under silicone renders.

CAUTION: When applying silicate render be sure to take into consideration the type of the surface.

In any case do not apply silicate render on old dispersion coatings.

Do not use organic colorants for tinting silicate renders.
